News and Events Opportunities to volunteer with Cambridge Talking News CamSight has provided a home for Cambridge Talking News for several years. Their volunteers produce audio recordings for blind and partially sighted people which are sent out on USB sticks to about 100 people every week. They also produce CamMag, an audio magazine 8 times a year. They are keen to recruit volunteers to help with the following jobs: Sort the incoming post Create feature articles to be added to the news items each week Join the team of editors of CTN and edit one edition each month Join the team of copiers Deal with referrals and cancellationsCreate rotas for the teams each year, and deal with necessary changes as they ariseMaintain the client databaseMonitor the CTN email addressBe the organising co-ordinator who acts as the point of contact for all queries concerning CTN and ensures our organisation runs smoothly. Some of these jobs can be done from home. Some could be combined. CTN has a website which gives more information about the working of this organisation.
