Fundraising Events

CamSight attends or hosts various fundraising activities throughout the year. We'd love it if you could join us as a volunteer or help by providing items to raise funds for our services. Please get in touch if you'd like to support us.

Upcoming event dates:

Saturday 16th May - City Of Cambridge Symphony Orchestra Charity Concert, West Road Concert Hall (Cambridge): if you can help by selling tickets in advance, or collecting donations on the night, please let us know.

We would love your support! Even a half hour can help us plan essential comfort or lunch breaks, keeping our team refreshed and happy.

Saturday 6th June - Bucket Collection at Strawberry Fair, Midsummer Common, Cambridge: Volunteering slots available anytime from 5pm until 11pm

This is a really fun bucket collection to get involved with! CamSight will be positioned at one of the entrances from 5pm to 11pm - volunteers can come along for a few hours (dressing up optional!) and help fundraise for CamSight as well as enjoying the atmosphere of Strawberry Fair.

Saturday 20th June - Fundraising Stall at Fen Edge Festival, Cottenham.

Come and join our team of volunteers to help raise money at our fundraising stall! Volunteering can just be for a few hours and gives you a chance to go round and enjoy the festival before or afterwards. If you are able to help with set up or pack down make sure to let us know.

Sunday 28th June - Fundraising Stall at Histon and Impington Feast, Histon High Street.

Volunteer to help out at our fundraising stall for a few hours! We'll be running games and talking to the public about how CamSight can help. Please let us know if you can help with set up or pack down.

Regular Challenge Events:

Cambridge Half Marathon - early March each year

Register your interest for a place in 2027's Cambridge Half Marathon and run for Team CamSight! The registration fee will be £25 and this will be included in your fundraising target of £300.

The TTP Cambridge Half Marathon begins at Jesus Green in the centre of Cambridge, runners will then pass over the river, through Kings College, then Queens College and past Corpus Christi College before entering the beautiful Grantchester.

Jack, ran for the first time for CamSight, "The entire event was amazing, and the atmosphere was electric! The support from the crowds throughout the city of Cambridge was something I’ve never experienced before. The positive energy from the crowd really spurs you on. It was a pleasure to meet the staff of CamSight on the day, and to raise money for them  was an honour! It’s been an incredible experience for me and certainly something I will never forget."

Register to run The Cambridge Half Marathon 2027 for CamSight

Peterborough's Great Eastern Run - 11th October 2026:

This 13.1-mile event around the closed roads of Peterborough is the perfect event for everyone, whether it is your first half marathon or you are racing to get your personal best time.

The race kicks off and finishes at The Embankment, winding its way through the streets of Peterborough, passing Peterborough Cathedral, the vibrant city centre, Bourges Boulevard and Bridge Street.

Expect enthusiastic crowds and local support all out on the route, to give you a boost when you need it most. Set your own fundraising target and we'll be there to cheer you on!

Whether you’re planning on organising a fundraising Bake Off competition with colleagues or planning to run a marathon, CamSight can help you promote your fundraiser through our social media channels and provide you with a fundraising pack to help you get the most out of your fundraising efforts.

Do you know of an event that you think would be great for CamSight to attend? Let us know!

Email the fundraising team or phone 01223 420033. Remember, if you are doing a fundraiser at work, make sure you talk to your employer to see if they would be willing to match your fundraising efforts.
