CamSight was delighted to be one of three charities supported at the Carter Jonas vs COEL charity cricket match.

Alongside Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and The Phoenix Trust, we were proud to be part of a fantastic community event that brought people together for a day of cricket, generosity, and friendly competition.

Despite the hot weather, supporters turned out in great spirits to enjoy the match, which saw Carter Jonas retain the trophy under the captaincy of Henry Platts-Martin. Guests also enjoyed a special appearance from former England international Phillip Defreitas, who took part in a Q&A session, met attendees, and even bowled an over.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success, including Carter Jonas, COEL, the sponsors, players and supporters. Your generosity will help CamSight continue supporting people living with sight loss across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

We're also pleased to share that the silent auction remains open until 16 July, with 79 fantastic lots generously donated by local supporters. Every penny raised will go directly to the three chosen charities. You can take part here!

Events like this show the incredible impact that can be achieved when people come together. Thank you to everyone involved for making the day so memorable. We look forward to sharing the final fundraising total soon.
