We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Trustee Jim Stewart.

Jim was a Trustee of CamSight for nearly 20 years, serving until his resignation in 2024. Jim worked for 32 years in the NHS. During this time, he also carried out voluntary work with the Cambridgeshire Rehabilitation Club for Blind and Partially Sighted People. He negotiated its merger with CamSight in 1995 and became involved in running one of our Peer Support Groups for many years with his late wife. 

Outside CamSight, Jim also volunteered and took an active interest in the Cambridge Rotary Club and Cambridge Friends of the National Trust of Scotland.

Jim was well respected by staff and fellow Trustees of CamSight. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family.
